Brennan hit harder than tough jawed Tommy, imo.

I love Tommy Farr for his toughness and resolve, but I can't put a handle on Bill Brennan to make a pick...
I'm going to a neutral corner and stay there....

Farr to me had better straight punches, and tad more speed. Neither guy is going to put the other away. Farr UD, with Braddock making a good showing would be my best guess.

I think its a toss up, certainly not a wash for Farr. At his best Brennan was very good but then so was Farr. Neither were championship class, just a rung below, so its a good, solid competetive fight. I could easily see them trading wins over a series.

Tough to call. Brennan looks more conventionally polished and reputedly hit harder, but Farr was tougher, somewhat awkward, and could make the fight ugly. I think the fight comes down to how well Brennan can box and work his jab, as compared to how well Farr is able to get inside and rough him up.

One thing that could hurt Farr was the judges. He never won a fight in America.
