    I doubt that Bruno would have been installed as favourite over Michael Spinks, had he been granted the ttile shot instead of ****ey.

    And if Gibbons was able to outpoint Holmes I'd have no issue making him favourite also.

    However he never beat a world class HW. Not saying it's beyond the realm of possibility but it's something he never did.

    Bruno at least has a victory over McCall.

    The guys who took out Bruno were big powerful sluggers. People can point to Bruno's suspect stamina, but I wonder how much Gibbons would have left in the tank after 8 or 9 rounds against a strong, hard hitting opponent who'd outweigh him by a good 45lbs.
