Tommy Morrison in I.C.U

I was hoping she would address that, as it seems to be the biggest and most significant factor in Morrison's career. Yet the one thing every seems to be beating around the bush about it.

 

How can he not have HIV?

I mean look at him threw the years.He's deteriorated badly.

If he doesn't have HIV he surely has other health issues.The man is sick.

 

I love the Duke, and I have always supported him. I have met him various times over the years, loved our email correspondence, and really thought of him as a friend. He always made sure to ask about my wife, my family etc,....saying that, as his friend and someone who cares about him, i think there is no question that he has HIV, possibly even AIDS


I myself did not believe that until about last year when Tom Virgets broke the story of how bad Tommy was doing, there was really no other way to explain it. Sure lots of people say he was using drugs, i'm sure that's the case, but i doubt very seriously his current condition is due exclusively to drugs.

There was a guy on here, I don't know who he was, claiming that the night of the Tommy vs John Castle fight, after the fight they went back to Tommy's hotel and was doing cocaine, crystal meth, etc... I think that's sad if it is true, but it also supports the various statements, including that of Dawn, that Tommy's drug use eventually spiraled out of control.

I hope in the end, somehow, or someway, Tommy is able to make some kind of a statement and let the fans know what is up. I have given up any hope that his wife Trish AKA The Duchess will update anybody on anything, and that includes Morrison's own kids and family. I just wish she would tell the truth because i know many members on here would gladly donate something to Tommy to help him, even if it is a small gift or small monetary amount. Keeping everyone in the dark is doing no one any good...

 

15%? The percentage of people who are given a false diagnosis is way higher than 15% period. So what is your point? You have doctors using tests that aren't specific, and making a wrong diagnosis based on that test that can't even detect HIV.

 

Ultimately, Morrison is to blame for his current state, but I have to wonder if the main stream sports had done more, maybe Morrison would have wised up. ESPN covered his first comeback fight, but made no mention of his his obviously fake body, and it didn't seem like they did much reporting on Morrison's HIV claims, either.

 

If he dies, he dies.

Sorry but you are completely wrong Ackbar. HIV testing is extremely specific and false positive levels are in NO WAY CLOSE TO 15% .

I will just say that I was very naive at the time and in a very controlling relationship. I am very fortunate to be a healthy woman today and thank God for protecting me in many ways. If I had followed in Tom's footsteps, I would most likely not be here today. His story is a perfect example of how not to live your life. I would also like to publicly say that I regret referring to Dawn as the one who married him in Mexico. People have gotten us confused for years and the moment got the best of me. Memories of walking into a QT and having the clerk say, "Hey, there was another Dawn Morrison in here yesterday....looked a lot like you!" However, she has a very good heart and endured a lot of pain and heartache as well. We both have new lives, beautiful children, our health and stories to tell.

 

Tommy done dug too many taters...

A damn shame a friendly neighborhood doctor would lie to people. Bet you wouldn't sign a waiver if a patient asked you to vouch for the specificity, and accuracy of the tests you idiot.
