    You should lock this thread. Like that thread not about xylocaine but asking why xylocaine threads were locked by the mods.

    But May should be giving credit...Mosley is still a badass...still a7 or 8 if his prime was 10.

    It doesn't matter what Mosley did to Margo. Styles make fights. My whole point is that Floyd is afraid of Margarito, period. Floyd's style beats Mosley's style (which is why Floyd called out Mosley years ago), Mosley's style beats Margo's style, and Margo's style beats Floyd's style (see Margarito vs Sergio Martinez for illustrations).

    Even today, Margarito would beat Floyd. Floyd knows it, but he'll never have to fight him. Floyd is undefeated because he ducks the guys who have the style to beat him.

    Imagine if Joe Frazier had retired without fighting Foreman. He would be undefeated, with a win over Ali, but the names of Foreman (and Shavers) missing from his record would have told us that he was afraid.

    Floyd is smart enough to fight the guys he can beat, but ducks the guys who have the style to beat him (like Margarito and Williams). That's why he's undefeated!

    Do you believe that Floyd would be undefeated if he had fought Margarito, Williams and Cotto? If so, then do you think Floyd was better than Ray Robinson?:thumbsup

    The same way he landed them on Sergio Martinez, knocking him out. Margarito has so much stamina and such a high work rate that he just tires you. He has a steel jaw so he just takes your punches, and after a few rounds you get tired of running away from him. Sergio Martinez has a very similar style to Floyd. No one has really beaten Martinez other than Margarito, so you can't really say that Floyd is better than Sergio.

    You're correct in that it won't help Floyd's legacy because he is going to get stopped. Mosley's legacy on the other hand will be improved exponentially!

    Really... You think Margarito would tire Floyd? Explain to me when you've last seen Floyd tired in a fight. So you assume just because Margarito landed on Sergio, that he will do the same to a masterclass boxer? I can definitely say that Floyd is better than Martinez. Floyd's defense is also better than Martinez. I shouldn't have to elaborate why either. So when Floyd beats Mosley, we can consider him greater than Margarito since Shane beat him?

    It's threads like this that make me not blame Mayweather for fighting for himself, and his family and the money, and saying **** everybody else. Because no matter what he does, he does not receive credit. To the guy who started this thread, I hope you continue to put more money in Floyd's pocket, by buying his pay-per-views & praying for him to lose a fight, while he flashes YOUR money on the next 24/7 episode.
