Are you ****ing crazy? Toney has **** power at HW. He hurt Rahman with a swift headbutt. Wlad is probably too tall for Toney to headbutt him the same way. Toney looked good for a round, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's back in the heavyweight mix. He's never shown an ability to fight with a decent workrate at heavy for a full 12 rounds, and last night was no different. He still has better body movement than any other heavy, and his fists are quick, but his reach is extremely limited, he doesn't punch hard, and his stamina seems to be mediocre at best. If he keeps fighting, he'll be consistently frustrating, brilliant for a round here or there, and just not active enough the rest of the time. As already mentioned, Wlad would be a horrible matchup for Toney. He doesn't have the power to KO Wlad, and with his counterpunching style and short arms, he'd just be kept at the end of the jab all night.
Do you know anything about fighting? You say Wlad only throws jabs and throws right hands. In his last fight Wlad threw and landing every body shot he threw. I landed a double uppercut to the stomach and chin. He landed left hooks also. Toney does not have the power to stun Wlad at all. Plus Wlad does not have stamina problems plus he picks his punch now also. Toney was a great fighter in his day. No chance for him to win. This fight would be a farce and a waste of time. All respect to Toney.
Someone with some sense. Now i know who to converse with on this site. Wlad has fast hands and is naturally very athletic.
I don't know if Toney would beat KLIT but I think he has enough power to KO him. Granted Toney is not the heaviest handed heavyweight but if he lands the right shot he can crack the chin... It's not because James is so strong, it's just KLIT's chin...and maybe a crafty fighter like Toney could expose it once more. KLIT is much more skilled than his current crop of competition, helping keep his chin secure. Although KLIT has several advantages over Toney, skill is not one of them.
Let this fight Happen if there is any fight that Wlad will earn my respect it will be ridding the boxing world of this poor mans version of Tyson.
Toney would lose, but I think he would last longer than the 4 rounds people are predicting. Toney is a hard man to hit clean, and Wlad doesn't have the fastest hands in the world. Toney would make him miss, counter him to the body, land a couple counter rights to the head but after maybe 7 rounds he'd lose steam and probably get stopped.
