It's styles. Talent vs skills. K is a polished veteran.

DA on his horse this rd. he seems to feel it IMo that he is off on his timing and Kotelnik has taken over this fight. probably the best thing to do. Manh it is hard to score any of these rds for DA he is not landing cleanly...
Very tough rd to score. DA had a little better rd.

4-3 Kot. Alexander getting sloppy, looking tired and getting tagged a lot.

    Not looking good for him.

    Round 7

Kotelnik is looking stronger as the bout wears on, landing harder and longer combos. Alexander jabs and moves, landing a couple of low hooks as he keeps Kotelnik turning. Kotelnik remains nicely squared on Alexander and catches him flush in the face with his jab and lead right hand while following. Alexander trapped on the ropes and ducks as Kotelnik lands a grazing 1-2. Alexander using the full ring, getting walked from one set of ropes to the next. Kotelnik turns Alexander's head with a 1-2. Kotelnik throws a 1-2-3 with the right hand and hook both going over Alexander's shoulders, resulting in a weird clinch where he pulls Alexander's head down between a two-fist pincer on the way back.

    6-1 Devon.

Kotelnik doing some good work, when he works.. but a lot of these rounds he's just getting outworked.. Kotelnik isn't a bigger enough puncher to land a round on one or two shots.
