OK control the fanboyism just a tad, he is so much fresher that he need heart medicine ffs! Come on... you could have claimed skill or strength or what-do-I-know to push your agenda, but claiming he is fresher... :duh

Ortiz was that fresh that they nearly called the fight off hours before it was due to start due to how un-fresh he was.

You’re not talking about the Alexander Povernov fight are you, which many people regularly claim was Povetkin, while regularly showing the Povernov fight.

That aside, Povetkin is the superior fighter for me. Ortiz has just been put on a pedestal because he took Wilder to new depths. All in my opinion, of course.

Anyone saying AJ is poor because he got hit by some of Povetkin's shots, didn't Wilder also get hit by some of Ortiz's shots and get rocked too? Did not AJ and Wilder show the they both possess the heart of a lion by coming back to get the KO aginst similary matched opponents in both their recent fights? Anyone saying that AJ's record is poor, can you show us how Wilder's is any better? Why is it so difficult to give both men credit where credit is due, regardless of whether or not you're personally a fan of either? Haters just gonna go on hating but real fans appreciate watching quality boxing matches regardless of whether or not they are fans of the fighters putting their lives on the line.

Joshua certainly enhanced his rep more with the Povetkin win than Wilder did vs Ortiz, altho that fight did show Wilder can dig deep and find the stoppage. We already saw that from Joshua vs WK.

Wilder would have been in the toughest fight of his life versus last night's Povetkin.

Wilder found a way to beat Ortiz. Fury found a way to beat Wlad. Despite many misgivings about both fighters, they deserve credit where it's due.

As long as the December 1 fight leads to 2019 showdown with Joshua, I'm happy to just watch things play out from here without over thinking it now. If Wilder, Fury or Joshua have what it takes to be a 4 belts unified champ they can prove it over their next few fights.
