Ayala (El torito) was a reasonably talented middleweight who lost his shot at the supermiddleweight title. Joe Louis was not a bad light heavy from 61 to 64 but he lost his last 3 by KO before the second. I take Ayala despite the size difference.
B, If I read your post correctly, think you have Louis mixed up with another fighter. He never fought as a lightheavy 'n was retired in '51 after bein' KO'd by Marciano.
