It's a Friday fight night on sky guys and I plan on doing a very good job Ajisafe, Somewhere between 3 and 6 rounds I'll be happy but if he lasts then so be it, Im better than him in every department and come the 24th he'll find that out, Im told he's really happy he's been given so much notice as he says he only had 3 days notice against McKenzie so the signs are there he'll make it last.. I feel once I hit him he'll be in for one hell of a shock but eh that's just my opinion, We'll soon see..:good

Ajisafe's one them fighters you look at him and think ''he's gonna get sparked in a hot sec'' and somehow he stays in there and gets job done. He's a good test for Tony but i don't see Bob lasting 12 rounds of bomb-bardment!!

At first I was a little worried about this bill but after being told it was a friday fight night I was really happy as exposure is now what is needed if Im to start making waves in the division.. I refuse to be known as the guy who keeps calling out Cleverly, I will make my own name in this sport and Im determined to get to the summit, Come the start of 2011 Im hoping my name is being linked with a European title fight....:good

 

Tony just got a question for ya.

Jim Mcdonnell has complained this week about Fury wearing Cleto Reyes Gloves. He says they are punchers gloves which most already knew. He says ''it's like being hit by a thunderbolt''. Just wondering when i seen you fight you wear Grants Gloves. Is there any particular reason you use them? I normally see more defensive type fighters use Grants. I would of thought you prefer Cleto Reyes because they are notorious punchers gloves. Maybe you feel you don't need to have punchers gloves cos you can bang in any glove? I have noticed you apply the shoulder roll...maybe you use them for your defense?

 

I'll be honest mate I really suffer with my hands and Grant are the best for my hands but I'll tell you something else, When I get in for a world title (Fingers crossed) I'll be wearing them green bereys (Reyes), They are bad gloves though mate, I've trained in a pair and took them off after 1 round and they were brand new gloves there just feels like there is nothing inside the reyes gloves, They used to be stuffed with horse hair:shock: Now they are just so thin, It's no wonder fury banged them on in the rematch, I couldn't even imagine getting hit by Lennox Lewis who always wore reyes.. Imgine how Rahman felt when that right hook landed..

The shoulder roll stuff I've been doing for years, Just a habit now.. Gotta say if I had my way then I'd wear winning gloves as they are by far the best gloves on the market and I train in them daily, There's no better gloves so I settle for second best when I put the Grant gloves on..:good Hope that answers all them questions mate..

I can totally understand why you don't wear them. I didn't know they were that bad now, Especially in early days of a career you don't wanna be smashing you hands up. Smart Choice wearing the Grants.
