Anyone know when the rematch between Bellew and McKenzie is happening? I hate to beat a dead horse but that was the worst stoppage I have ever seen, Plus for someone with world title aspirations like Bellew he needs to rematch him to remove any doubts about his boxing ability and most importantly about his chin.

Im not 100% sold on Bellew, I think he has a questionable chin and an under-used jab.

Lets hope the rematch is made soon!

What is questionable about Tony's chin?

Does getting up from a MASSIVE knockdown in a few seconds not prove your chin?

Getting knocked down by someone featherfisted like McKenzie who has just 7 knockouts shows you have a dodgy chin.

Its the premature stoppage by the referee that was a disgrace thats why we all want to see the rematch.

It's not even questionable. Bellew has a bad chin. Like Khan was at Bellews stage of his career, he's getting put down by guys who don't have a big punch.

I have a huge amount of respect for Bellew and I'm a fan but the fact that you're denying his chin is even questionable is quite staggering. It's more of a fact that he has a bad chin if the likes of Ajisaf can put him down.

I dont think that fight says more about his defence on the night than his chin, McKenzie is known as a big hitter and can knock people out. I think most caught by them punches would of hit the canvass.

I'm back in full training and have been for the last 3 weeks, I'm already in great shape, waiting for date but the fight has been mandated by the board and I am ready to go, I feel I was robbed of a knockout last time!! This wouldn't be happening had the ref just left me for another 10 seconds!! Either way I'll go in with him again and pick up were I left off!! He should e careful what he wishes for!!

Thanks for the support again guys.. ;)

McKenzie is a better puncher than his record would have you believe.

Nice one Tony just want you to get on with your career and watch you move through the levels.

With regards to Tonys chin I think the Ajisafe and 1st McKenzie knockdown were both balance related. The second shot was basically Tony taking Mckenzies best shot and getting up immediately.

Its probably the best thing to happen to Tony because all the people that were backing off him before might fancy their chances now. I think the way Tony dismantled Ovill over the rest of the fight shows what he is all about imo.

Wow, i mean what a wanker of a poster this Maxwell fellow is, utter diatribe is spouted whenever you post...

Back to thread, if you come through this impressively will you look at danny mac or even start to build on your win and follow a clev fight? obviously its all bout timing and fights made but its just the fact your older than those 2 and will have to push harder to get all the fights whilst your still young or in your prime.
