Bellew is still learning the game. When he gets a few more fights under his belt you'll probably start to see him do well.

Cleverly would win at this stage, by stoppage.

Stephen and liam smith live on my mums estate so I should be ok for tickets, but if you want to do me a favour keep following your dreams and lets see how far we can take this train.

Based on stylistics, Bellew has the power, Boxing ability, to hurt Cleverly imo, Cleverly has a total disregard for punches, which would not work out well for him against someone who can punch like Bellew, also, Bellew seems to throw pretty straight punches, which, for someone like Cleverly who leans in a lot, has his hands glued to the side of his head, would be a problem, that said, Bellew's mentality concerned me a bit in the Ajisafe fight, he seemed to get pretty frustrated, so how would he respond if he didn't! knock Cleverly out and got dragged into a fight? from the fights ive seen of Bellew, he is yet to be in a balls to the wall fight where the opponent is continually asking questions of him, Cleverly's done that imo.

Its hard to pick, simply because Bellew is such an unknown quantity, I mean if Bellew were a vet, Id probably pick him based on his superior skills.

Id have to think about this some more before deciding who to pick.

Seen as Tony is looking at this post...

Being a blue nose, didn't you have the extra motivation to knock Ajisaf out knowing he looked like David Ngog?
    Ha ha

Bellew is 27. Clev is 23. And yet bellew "isn't ready" for cleverly yet?

Says it all really. Clev is a much better talent and prospect.

Bellew was whinging in the ring for most of his last fight. It's not the first time hes put on a poor performance either. Sorry to say it but I don't think Bellew is in Cleverlys league based on what we have seen so far.

I dont see how anyone could say that to be honest. IMO Boxing is Principally about defense and technique, now to me, Cleverly has little to no defense, leans in too much, which makes him a sucker for an uppercut, seems incapable of fighting effectively from range without getting picked off, at least Bellew has decent fundamentals, Bellew keeps his weight central, displays a better defense, now of coarse he looked less than stellar against Ajisafe, but who is going to look good against a fighter who is not trying to win!?, he essentially focusing his efforts on trying! to make you look bad, rather than actually winning the fight, plus, he wont be the first fighter to have looked poor against a southpaw.

I thought it was an average performance myself, but I take into consideration that Ajisafe is a lefty, one who was trying to survive than win, which culminated with Bellew's over-eagerness to impress, which had him winding up on his shots, that said, I dont think its a reflection of good/bad Bellew really is.
