Give over, you're only looking at the end result.

Atoli Moore was doing more than any of Bellew's opponents that I've seen. He wasn't just making up the numbers running and trying to get through the fight. He came to fight and got caught. Consider if if he was against another prospect that doesn't punch as hard. He'd be competetive.

We must be watching something different. He has the technique of a 2 fight amateur novice.

I saw a guy that came to fight unlike most of these other guys that fight Bellew that just come to run and defend.

Yeah his technique was **** but at least he fights. I bet he'll be brought over again because everyone has his down as a soft touch now and he'll extend somebody. I've a feeling he's not as bad as that result makes him seem.

I agree. He was just too small.

Crude or not, he has balls and didn't fold. Not as bad as the Afrobum Clev started his K.O streak against :deal

Didn't Atoli Moore go to the Commonwealth Games as an amateur aswell??, he can't be that bad a fighter if he went to the Commonwealth Games.

Without sounding too cynical, if he represented Ghana then I doubt he would have had an abundance of competition to get to the commonwealths.

Truth is, we've seen him fight about 2 and half minutes. We cant judge him from that.

My opinion was that he was very, very crude. But if you had only ever saw the first round of pretty much any Arthur Abraham fight then you'd probably come to the same conclusion.

Jury's out on Moore until he boxes again, but I wont be reading too much into the fact that he went the commonwealths. Unless someone can tell me he beat some real quality opposition to get there?

Just to be clear I'm not saying he's great or even a good fighter !

I've just got this instinct he's not a pushover for any light heavy or super middle (he seems small) in Britain. He was game, he didn't look like the kind of guy that has been often hurt or is worried about his opponents artillery the way he stormed out there from the first bell and put the pressure on. He hadn't faced a Tony Bellew before and was shocked by the power.

But if he faces Travis Dickinson or Danny McIntosh? Might be a different story.

    That's one interpretation.

Another is that he's a complete novice that thought he could walk through anything thrown at him because he hadnt fought anyone other than cab drivers before.

I'm not saying it's one way or the other. Just that, we will have to wait and see. What's not in doubt, is the way Tony dealt with him. Novice or not. Future champion or not. You beat what's in front of you and he did so impeccably.

Didn't get blasted out though, obviously tough.

Although I hope to be able to judge Tony on more competitive fights on the horizon :yep

As **** as he is, Matthew Ellis was not a bad win for a light heavy. I believe Tony came in at about 180 (correct me if I'm wrong) so would've been outweighed big time. Bellew has not had it completely easy, but he's got the job done efficiently.

That's the mark of someone who is above domestic class IMO. When you see someone making a hard nights work out of a below average fighter, well, I pretty much right 'em off (I.e Ajose) although, that can sometimes be the wrong thing to do (see:Ricky Burns)

Bellew predicts 'pain' for Ajisafe, and for it to be over within six. I think Bellew will get him out in three, Ajisafe is awkward but not very good and not hard to hit, I doubt he has the artillery to keep Bellew smart either.

Issac Chilemba.....he was actually fighting Bellew but he got an IBO title fight at Super Middle. Wouldnt be shocked if he ends up fighting Groves.

  12. Tony Bellew - is a very good fighter

Reminds me of a young Maccarinelli - because he's a banger

But he also has skills and charisma

    That's good to hear. :good

One worrying theme we have right now is a lot of young fighters who don't weigh up that much or don't have the frame to move up a division, but have potential to struggle at their current weight.
