Although I want to see this fight, i dont want to see it like this.Whoever loses will have the perfect, ready-made excuse.Get Clev in there with any top 10 euro fighter then get the Bellew fight on in a couple of months down the line is what I say.
Its a shame this card has gone to **** but thats what happens sometimes

Cleverly and Mckenzie are two completly different fighters, i think Clev would get an early scare before firing on all cylinders and getting a wide decision.

I have a suspicion that Warren wants to make the Clev Bellew fight but put put it on in Liverpool.

I dont expect him to give Bellew this shot but I think he is next in line as a first defence as it is a proper grudge match and if Bellew wins the British title and puts McKenzie away impressively he will be in a decent position to challenge Clev

As I've said on here a couple of times today, I reckon the plan is for Bellew to be Clev's first voluntary defence, kind of like how the plan was to put Appleby in with Burns.

Which is why I don't think the Bellew fight will come off on Saturday, however much Tony wants it. Frank knows it'll sell 8000 seats at the Echo Arena, and hopes it'll do big business on Box Office with a proper build up. Obviously if the fight with Bellew happens Saturday, you lose out on all that hype, just to tag the fight on the undercard of DeGale v Groves.

He's got a ready made PPV main event, so I can't see him giving it up on Saturday when everyone has already paid for DeGale and Groves.
