But let's face it, I'd be angrier if I found out my son was out chewing Es moreso than I would be if he'd been drinking whiskey.

    Why?

There is no rational reason behind that apart from media hype - and the legality issue of course.

theres also the darker side of the drug trade. Just because it doesnt harm YOU, doesnt mean its not going to harm other people. whos to say some stupid kid hadnt ended up oweing a few hundred and getting beaten within an inch of his life by one of these guys?

Im being a hypocrite, because i used to dabble the whole time, but dont act like dealers are the victims, even if the justice system cant get the jail time right.

No actually I haven't, but I've seen people so pissed they needed to have their stomach pumped.

I've been around 100's of people on E and I've also been around 100's of pissed up ****s as well and I know which was the more pleasurable experience.

Ahhh, the early 90's club scene ... the days where pills where actually good ..although you might need to fork out £15 in those days ..

A club packed with people on pills dancing and drinking water is just such a good atmosphere to be in ....

The time it started to change was the time the self concious **** heads started turning up to see what the hype was all about ..

Nothing worse than a bunch of aggressive drunks standing in one corner feeling totally out of place and looking incredibly uncomfortable to spoil the atmosphere for everyone else.

Shame it really is. Tony came across as a good family man.

We all make mistakes, seems like his was a big one.

crazy how people have such a hysterical an ill informed reaction when it comes to illegal drugs.if the slate was wiped clean tomorrow and all drugs reclassified alcohol and tobacco would be illegal class A. Alcohol causes far more damage to society than illegal drugs ever will, ask any copper, social worker or A@E doctor.Dont believe the hype

Its not really the point, the guy/his associates probably used violence, cut there drugs with ****, etc. Your local barman doesnt offer you a few pints on tick then make you be a drug mule or any of the **** that goes on with dealers on the scale of this. I can near guarantee that at least most of this will be true of this particular drug ring, I've seen that **** first hand. He wasnt just buyin an oz and sellin a few grams to his mates... he maybe shouldnt have been given such a long sentence when compared to peados and the like, but doesnt mean he doesnt deserve punishment.
