I said it before, if your having confidence boosters after 7 fights your in trouble. He should fight banbula again next and then step up to british level fighters. If he can't hack it he's not good enough. If he can then good luck to him
hes got a very good trainer anyways, i see some talent there and he could still accomplish something in this sport
He should be stepping up now, i hope it goes well for him. Brooks seems to think in about a year Jaffa will be a new fighter.
When he listened to Brookes look what happened that was one great knock out,i do think he will come good..especially when he can bang like that,Reminds me of Carl Froch look at his first 12 fights he struggled then it all came together,Brookes must get him out of the bad habbits which his other coachs have missed. He seems like a nice fella with a big fan base i wish him look.
Carl was facing better opponents though and winning most of them by stoppage. That's the mark of a world class prospect for me, against decent journeymen getting the stoppage. Look at Hatton or Calzaghe and their record against them.... it's generally KO1, KO1, KO3, KO2 etc. Jeffries has faced two decent fighters and struggled badly against both.... Nathan King was all over him in the last couple of rounds, and we all know what happened against Bambula. The main thing in his favour is his power, that should get him through these type of opponents, and obviously Brooks is a top trainer..... but as the saying goes ''you can't polish a turd''. He might win the British title against the right opponent..... but beyond that I've got major reservations. Someone should confiscate that ****ing laptop though..... tell him to dedicate as much energy to his training as he has on networking sites :yep
