Heard you summarising the lower league scores on Tyne Tees the other night, any chance of you getting back on the main desk?

Seems very downbeat, i think the ''deserved'' criticism has knocked him back a bit. He has to prove us ''doubters'' wrong. I think it's a good move but if he thinks that going there will stop the negative posts about his training, sparring and fights he's got another thing coming.

Just as i say that he says he will be back on twitter and facebook..................................and fighting in Sunderland.
Maloney if you have any sense let him fight away from home.

I thought a few of you might enjoy listening to what Tony had to say. Top lad and I think this will be the making of him. Being from this part of the world, I know why Tony loves home so much but it'll be good for him to get out of his comfort zone, I think he knows that too. Re Bambula, he wants to have that re match as soon as possible. I think he see's it as correcting a wrong.

Good to hear. I think if he can get himself together and do a job on Bambula then he will win himself a lot of praise.

I just hope he fights away from home for a while and settles down to the task.

Boxing wise Rob? Not as much as Id like. It's mostly football for me these days but I still have my MC license so I'm still ring announcing a few shows. Got a couple next week up here and a couple of tv fights coming up but it's not quite like the good old days when I spent almost all of my working life talking boxing in one way or another!

He could definitely beat Bambula, I'd like to see him maybe take that fight then just fight exclusively in the States for at least two years.

Don't worry about titles, money, Sunderland....

I just get the vision of him reading forum, say a Nutjob thread, and just bubbling his eyes out.

Good interview, could've done without the music the entire way thru but im putting my annoyance with it down to just waking up.
