The truth is, to quote an oft used Margo's phraseology, Margo was in the best shape of his life, not still recovering from the Cotto War when he fought a roided Mosley but just grounded up in the meatgrinder that is Manny Pacquiao. He has accounted for himself very well and the one to have hurt Manny the most of all the world class fighters Manny had faced in his now legendary trail of pain and devastation in climbing the divisions starting with the David Diaz fight.

No doubt grateful to Arum and Manny for granting him the fight, he was never meek or groveling, always maintained that air of supreme confidence and aloofness, of a kinda arrogance and badassery, encapsulated in the baddest of badass line when he says in the final 24/7 episode...I hope to God Manny is well prepared for this fight because we are going to War!

He prepared like a madman for the fight. He had no excuse, he didn't need any. He was willing to die in that ring and if he looses, well then he will have lost to the baddest man on the planet. In return, he has given Manny another legendary fight in which the full spectrum of Manny's offensive aresenal and extraordinary fortitude in absorbing pain could be displayed in the grandest forum in modern times. Both have sacrificed their hearts and minds, present and future well being, to give us, the fan, a memorable and magnificent show.

We cannot ask more from Margo, he has more than made up, imo, for any faux pas he may have committed in the past for without him, his herculian efforts and willingness to go out on his shields, we will never have experienced the glimpses of greatness past generation had in the exploits, in real time, of a young Tyson, Ali, SRR.

not really. cotto has accomplished more than him in the past few years after that fight. plus karma can be a *****. bottom line from someone who has been hit in the ring anyone who cheats should NEVER fight again. ah well.

Cotto ran from Clottey a fight he obviously lost and got his ass beat by Pacman, then fought a feather fisted bum for a paper title.

Margarito got a 6 million dollar payday for getting KO'd by Shane Mosley and getting caught with plaster, he's a disgrace.
