Id like to see this fight, but Haye would never take it as his first fight at HW. Thompson by KO, Haye exposed as a blown up cruiserweight.

See that's the point here....the only thing Thompson has ever done that is mildly impressive is go a few rounds with WALD who has hardly ever been impressive himself.

He'd be made to look exactly what he is against Haye - slow, ponderous and feather fisted. He'd be staring at the lights in pretty quick fashion :yep

There is no way Haye will take this fight.

TT was avoided before Wlad...and he will be avoided even more after the Wlad fight. Haye and his handlers do not want any of that.

He won't take it for fear of killing old man Thompson maybe, but certainly not to avoid Thompson as a challenge, because he isn't a challenge.

Thompson won't be avoided at all, people will be lining up to do a better job on him than WALD did. A bit like Biggs after Tyson beat him, only that was a REAL beating, obviously.

Haye WAS a genuine cruiserweight champion. He held 4 belts including the ring magazine belt which all signifies he beat mostly top oppostion.Cunningham although had some record to speak of was dreary as **** with noone good on his resume.Who would come from the USA to watch Haye v Cunningham let alone in Britain to see it? Not enough.

haye should fight thompson or barret. **** rankings. anyone with eyes can see barrets is as worthy as maskeav and rahman (maskaev looked like ****). either guy would be a decent test first hw fight.

I would definitely be a believer in Haye if he took on Thompson and beat him like Wlad did or even better.

Thompson is better than most people think he is. First, hes very tall and big, then he is awkward, and then he is a south paw.

Thompson will test Haye's power, because it is hard to hurt Thompson. Haye will also have to avoid the straight left that will be coming at him all night. Remember, Thomspson was able to hit Wlad more times than any other opponent of Wlad's had done in any other fight.

    Hope this fight happens.

    Good test for David Haye.

Thompson is underrated. I hope this fight comes.
