Thompson looked like **** in both Price fights; no muscle definition, slow as molasses, no genuine power or tangible endurance, gassing early but slightly less so than the embarrassingly useless Liverpudlian. If Thompson was on PEDs, he really needn't have bothered.

You have to wonder why this is considered news now, given it happened a couple of years ago - damage control from Saurland, perhaps, and the beginnings of an attempt to salvage something, anything, out of Price and recoup some of the horribly misspent outlay. That thought is more horrifying than any drug usage by Thompson.

This constant PED discourse is one of the most absurb things in boxing. I can't care less about 42 year old man taking some pills before exposing 6′8 fraud in front of his own fans in Liverpool.. twice, lol.

If this was of any major significance, Thompson would have done better against Pulev and Takam as well. So I would rather see all the PED-hysteria obssessed people out of boxing.
