Tony Zale vs Charley Burley

Yes it is on youtube I just didn't type in zale vs soose just zale.

The five or so minutes of footage is late in the fight, yes Zale crouches more and is faster and from what I see, if the fight went like this for 10 rounds then it's a coin toss decision. I actually think all close fights that go the distance are really draws. I am a big believer in KO or TKO victories amd only regard decision victories when one guy is clearly beating the other guy up, if a guy backpedals for most of a fight and scores lots of pitty patty jabs but can't do any real damage then I fail to see how that is declared a victory for the runner (obviously I am referring to todays fighters).

Nice to finally see Soose in action even if the film is of poor quality.

I like the Bob n weave style Zale employs against Soose as opposed to the more rigid style later in his career. Who knows maybe his knees went bad.
