He lives in Uganda, but made Denmark his base when he boxed for team Palle. Nothing Danish about him at all. Wilson Kipketer, on the other hand, was a Danish citizen, when he represented Denmark.
You're right... that is indeed the Danish flag next to his name! I guess, that's because he had most of his fights in Denmark. However, if you look at their light middleweight all-time ranking (where Kalule is in 18th place) the Ugandan flag is shown next to his name. Also, if you look at his BoxRec profile, you will find, that he's listed under 'Ugandan World Champions'. I can see, how it can be a bit confusing... but, to cut a long story short, he has never been a Danish citizen.
