I can't name 10 active they aren't bad fighters but Wladimir Klistschko & Devon Alexander puts me to sleep faster than NiQuil I saw Alexander live on the Garcia Morales 2 undercard man did he stink up the place
Mosley isn't boring but his fight against Sergio Mora was an absolute snoozefest. Even the HBO highlights on Youtube is boring, there are no highlights in that fight. Mayweather was extremely dull in the Guerrero fight. The crowd didn't boo for no reason. Wlad had been stinking up the HW division for years so for me, he tops the list.
Enjoying exciting fights does not make you a casual fan atsch They are boring, not a bad list but no way Bradley should be on it.
hopkins is boring huh? I mean, you guys must not be watching his fights and choosing to instead jump on a bandwagon, because his last two fights were exciting, especially the murat fight.
1. Lara - Lara has one advantage going into every one of his fights and that is he has 5 fans. His opponent (that has fans) is torn between two options. Give into Lara's plan of chasing him down trying to make an actual fight out of it or disappoint his own followers by stinking out the joint himself. We all know that if anyone were to out-point Lara it couldn't be anything but a stink-fest of epic proportions, there is no way around it, there just isn't. It's one of the only guarantees in life next to death. For those who say if you don't like it then don't watch, ok I won't, done. 2. Carlos Molina - More of a Greco Roman Wrestler then a Boxer. 3. Zab Judah - Been a fan for a long time but I have to add him to the top of the list if I'm going to be completely honest. After his absolutely lackluster performance last time out, unwillingness to throw the left hand and just bounce around trying to look like he's in a fight, I have no choice but to place him at number 3. 4. Shane Mosley - Similar to Judah, it's not very fun at all watching Shane go through the motions considering what he once was. 5. Wladimir Klitschko - Considering his talent he should look more impressive then he does and/or spend less time in the ring with some of his opponents. 6. David Haye - Doesn't fight, not entertaining. 7 to 10. - Let's just go with Dzindziruk, Firat Arslan, Devon Alexander and Dirrel just to finish it off because I'm tired of writing this list.
there must be something wrong with me. I don't get why the pure boxing gets so much hate. People seem to prefer the head first, no skill, just throw as many punches as possible type of boxers. I for one love the way Rigondeaux, Mayweather and Lara box. For me what makes for a boring fight is dirty tactics where one boxer simply doesn't allow the other to box by excessive hugging, clinching, rabbid punches - Wladimir, recent Hopkins are examples of that, as well as mindless and skill-less just go forward and throw punches type of boxers - Rios, Chisora, etc. I realize that last bit would be a sacrilege for lots of fans, but you asked and I respond the way I see, I just think this type of boxing is boring.
1) Wlad- right hand- grab, repeat . . . . . . . . . 2) R. Abril- spoiler 3) Kingpin- no explaining needed 4) Lara- crosses the fine line between boxing and running 5) Molina- clinch clinch 6) judah- when hes not game, pose pose pose, left hand 7) Canelo- one good combo, 2 minute rest 8) alexander 9) Hopkins- some fights 10) trout
i like technical fights that display skill...but anything that is a hug/cliche fest is boring...rather see two fighters jab each other to death than a hug match...
wlad is ****ing great and imo unbeatable till he retires, but sometimes he is so ****ing boring its frustrating. but he is not as boring as the other guys you all mentioned because he can always knock some one clean out with one punch. and even if he is boring for ten rounds, then comes the BOOOOOM! and i'am satisfied
