Don't forget Berto went toe-to-toe with Madiana (a much better puncher than Berto) before he "quit" and "glass jawed dick" Amir Khan went toe to toe with him before beating him.

And I personally think that Luis Collazo beat Berto and was robbed.

It would, but Donaire is coming off wins of Sidorenko and Montiel, and if he defeats Moreno, Mares/Agbeko, Kameda, unifies the titles, moves up in weight and defeat the likes of WV2 or Kratingdaenggym, then he should have #1 on lock.. I just don't think Khan will surpass him P4P..

:good donaire is miles ahead of khan right now and if donaire defeats mares-agbeko winner then he could probably take over # 2 since mayweather is in the retirement home as this moment.

Khan i still believe have a good chance of becoming # 1 if he beat bradley next and in the future berto or whoever is the # 1 welterweight at the time.

Im going with martinez, if pac loses to to mosley he is no longer #1, floyd is off the list in may, I consider martinez number 3 now so he will be number 1 if pac loses. Mayweather only needs to beat pac so he has a good chance and donaire will be number 1 in a few years.

Ok...you have every right to that opinion on Collazo-Berto, but in terms of Berto beating Ortiz and Khan, it's not relevant. Berto is an entirely different animal than Maidana, he's got power (which I guess is similar), but his hand speed is as good as anyone in boxing. He also isn't afraid to let his hands go, hence I don't see either of those guys being able to endure his onslaught. Khan is more talented and overall a more talented fighter but he's smaller, they are on par in terms of hand speed, and when Berto hurts him...he can put together the flurry of punches that will stop the fight via Referee stoppage and/or actually knocking him out. Ortiz also has more dynamic skills and from a "boxing" standpoint is also more talented, but once he gets hit and things get tough he will either retreat into his shell and stop "boxing" or he will quit.

Martinez - he has already moved up so much for beating smaller guys and even at his age has taken little punishement

Donaire - Just a great talent and high ring IQ with a devastating left hook

Juanma- Can become one of the greatest Puerto Rican fighters of All time -
he has a great right hook, throws brilliant combinations and most importantly he is improving steadily. He showed a great chin and tremendous stamina and hightened ring iq in his biggest win vs the very tough Rafael Marquez, he needs to lose and shake the problems outside the ring before he can make his run to greatness around 2014

I still stand by my Ortiz perdiction, here's why:
    1. While Berto is a welterweight and Ortiz is a junior welterweight, Ortiz is actually taller than Berto and seems to be more muscular.
    2. I don't believe that Berto has the power to hurt Ortiz as Madiana did.
    3. I believe Ortiz is the more powerful of the two and Berto's chin is average at best (i'm expecting Berto to be dropped at some point).
    4. I think Berto's style of fighting is a southpaw's dream, and Ortiz has good movement.

def donaire number 1 as he can only go up in weight to fight champions. Martinez can do it if he goes up to 168 and not pulling a floyd and fighting smaller champions. Floyd is out of my lists come may, maybe ward in a few years time as he cleans out the supermiddle

Lopez beats Marquez (rematch), Gamboa and John.
Donaire beats Moreno, Agbeko and Vazquez Jr.

    Then:

Lopez vs. Donaire in 2012 for P4P No.1!
