Please stop the overrating of Kelly Pavlik!!!

He is no way near the top 5 p4p! Even if he cleans up the weak MW division he won´t be in the top five.

He is at least in the top 10. The man is undefeated, knocked out Miranda and was the first man to beat Taylor.

:good I'm inclined to agree buddy, but need another fight before they overtake the likes ODLH, Montiel etc.

All in good time. I expect them to crack my top 20/25 in due time.

What do you mean no? Everything I said was factual...actually happened. I'm not a Pavlik fan but he deserves to be amongst the best fighters in the world. He brutally knocked out the man who held wins over Bernard Hopkins and took Winky Wright to a draw, a fighter who is now universally underrated because of a close loss to Hopkins.

he gets props - but not top 5 for me...

depending on the fasion - if he displays great skills and wins convincingly - i would accept a good case, but if its a crude slugfest where its a case of who falls first kinda thing - i dont see how that makes him one of the top 5 fighters in the world.

I also think Cotto is very high, and is fast being overrated, good fighter no doubt, but his best win is a RAZOR thin win over an old mosley, with mosley showing the best form in the championship rounds, i had it split 3 ways in 3 different scorings - 1 round cotto win, 1 round shane win, and a draw - a rematch really really should have been made. And Gomez should never have shared a ring with him, i'd agree top 5, but not top 3 with one win over margarito automatically moving him above calzaghe/pacquiao. Not just yet anyway

pretty good list, but you seem smart in how you did it so i dont understand how haye makes your list, unless your just a Haye fan? Look at em 1 by one, they all have accomplished much, but when you look at Hayes record I only see 1 or 2 credible names, and those arent that great to begin with..... i think there are many more people who have accomplished much more that deserve to be on this list. I dont understand how anyone could have david haye even in the top 20 UNTIL he beats some well named opponents. Im not sayin he wont make it, but were speaking about RIGHT NOW. Hopefully you see my point.

because in only 21 fights look at what he's done. he's beat the best in the division, via ko, in the champs home backyard, beat his domestic rival - and is undisputed champion.

the guy is very talented - has beautiful power, like pavlik, unified and undisputed in a far shorter time than pavlik, has shown ability to overcome losses, and has a far higher skillset imo than pavlik. I'm using pavlik as an example as Pavlik is considered so high, when really he's not achieved anything more than Haye imo.

Haye went to the unified champions backyard and knocked him out. NOBODY does that in Paris. Its the most fierce atmosphere you can think of. Mormeck is a very underrated boxer, and the cruiserweight division is also underrated. Mormeck, Bell, Cunningham, Macca, Adamek, Flores are comparable with most other divisions top tens. He was evdiently head and shoulders above every other boxer in the division and showed this with another destruction of a fellow belt holder. His resume is fine with me. He deserves to be top ten on skill set alone.
