He's tough to rate.Good info on the 50s Fly era is hard to come by and some of his opponent's might be unfairly obscure.I'm confident it wasn't as strong as the 60s through 80s though. He's not that too far away from Jofre in terms of career and really was the man at Fly for a while, just minus the comeback.
Yes, I can agree with that ! Good points But I can´t see a case for putting guys like McLarnin, Arguello and Canzoneri below him.... And like "The Ring" ranking him above Michael Spinks, Charley Burley, Carmen Basilio, Roy Jones Jr, etc..... But, lists are lists, are all subjective.....anyway, in my opinion, besides Yaoita and Shirai, there was nothing left (for obscure opponents).......As far as I know of course....
I was supprised to see Oscar so high, and above Pacman. I started a thread a while ago who is higher Emile or Oscar and most said Emile but T has Osacar higher. Floyd above Pacman? and agree with you about Erik and MAB.

As mentioned I am rectifying the McLarnin situation, he has jumped 42 places from last time, and I am currently reading up on him (having got information about him via reading up on his opponents, notably Ross, hence his ranking), which I suspect will probably lead to another jump next time.
I think Lil Floyd has gone as high as he is going to get (I would love for him to prove me wrong), while I suspect Manny still has some scope to improve further, having already jumped 67 places from last time.
T is this based on H2H, achevments through the different weights or ranking higher at one weight? I could see Pac as high as 15\20 P4P and I cannot see Floyd up that high, as his best win is Corrales at SFW and his comp' past LW is not that flash ( for a guy with his skill)

It is based on quality of opposition, achievement, to a point iconic status, and I try not to do it, but I suspect there is a bias towards multi weight fighters. It is perhaps most importantly, based on my knowledge of a fighter, if I do not know a fighter so well, I am cautious with his ranking. It is not based on a head to head clash though.
I needed to put Lynch and Buchanan in; Mace found a place too. I also hotshot-ted another couple of Brits up the rankings. As a Brit myself, I am conscious of coming across as too bias, thus Calzaghe missed out.
