Also has Whitaker at 48, Charles at 22, and host of other non explanatory picks. I don't buy into Bert Sugar at all, honestly.

Replace Louis with Greb and I wouldn't argue. Just my opinion.

Yeah, no pics really ****s me up

I change mine around all the time as i learn, but the top 5 are set in stone now. The ten has been the same for about a year but I just switched Fitz and Ali.

Yep, I'm really solid on the top 5, I don't think it's going to change at all.

Where would you have Fitz if he had won the rematch with Jeffries? That would have made him the first man to ever regain the heavyweight title all while being a middleweight.:yep

    Good effort. I know what you mean about trying to compile a top 50, I haven't managed it yet - it seems almost impossible. My top 20 is;

    1. Ray Robinson
    2. Sam Langford
    3. Harry Greb
    4. Henry Armstrong
    5. Ezzard Charles
    6. Roberto Duran
    7. Willie Pep
    8. Muhammad Ali
    9. Benny Leonard
    10. Mickey Walker
    11. Archie Moore
    12. Bob Fitzimmons
    13. Ray Leonard
    14. Joe Gans
    15. Barney Ross
    16. Pernell Whitaker
    17. Tony Canzoneri
    18. Manny Pacquiao
    19. Joe Louis
    20. Gene Tunney

I'm happy with the top 13 - the last seven places change almost every time I make a list.

I don't know why but I just don't rate Leonard as high as others.. Maybe its just because he is an annoying character who I felt got lucky a number of times but I just don't see him being above a guy like Archie Moore.

I also find it extremely difficult to compare guys from before the turn of the century and the 00's I just dont think that technically they were very advanced and although well adapted for the conditions of the time I can't see them competing in a H2H sense with more modern fighters.

I also think Durans achievements in higher weight classes should see him above Leonard but still thats a very good list.

Im one of the few people that thinks Leonard is overrated. Not in terms of ability, I think he is the 2nd best welter of all time.

But he didnt destroy Benitez, Duran or Hearns. He stopped Benitez and Hearns in close fights and I dont think Duran was 100% in their second.

I also think Pacquiao is a top 25 fighter right now. And Im a Floyd fan. Nobody in the history of the sport has gone from flyweight to welter.

He'd have a claim to #1. A win over the most dominate HW of the era??? An incredible achievement.
