    Weird how many members of our species can't learn their own language's rules.

    I did not include Fitz because he is a pioneer/crossover from the bare knuckle era and also a multi-weight champion. Langford was neither a career heavyweight nor a champion. Although both are certainly all time great fighters. In truth, I do not know where to put them on a list of linear heavyweight champions.

    I have Bowe and Johansson pretty close together in that’s they share similarities like both losing the title to the same guy they won it from. I give Ingo the slight edge because he knocked out his champion to win the title where as Bowe did it on points. I also think Ingo has a higher level second best win over Machen that trumps Bowe. Neither guy dominated an era by themselves. Ingo shared with Floyd and Liston. Bowe shared with Lewis And Holyfield. I think they are close.
