    Even if that's true, then Jeffries still has wins over Corbet (*2), Sharkey (*2), Ruhlin and Goddard. What Bowe has other than Holly fights? Not to mention that as good as he was, Evander was beaten by quite a few not great fighters in his career. Fitzsimmons was beaten only by Jeffries and Hall (twice avenged) in his prime.

    Walcott lost so many times that I just can't see him over someone as consistent as Jeffries who ruled the division for quite a few years. Also, Jeffries proved his superiority over Fitzsimmons while Walcott didn't. I also don't agree that Charles was better HW than Fitz but that's another debate.

    I don't think he needs more than the Holyfield fights. But he has a few good contenders under his belt and officially has 2 wins over Golota
    Not in his prime he wasn't.
    Holyfield was only beaten by Bowe and Moorer in his prime, one of which it's arguable he didn't lose to. And he avenged both.
    I'm more going off résumé with that. And I don't really rate Jefferies résumé. He has a good résumé but not on Wallcott's level. I think if you put Jefferies, Corbett, Fitsimmons, Goddard, Sharkey and Ruhlin in the late 40s and 50s we'd only know of Jefferies and Fitsimmons as great fighters and I have feeling they'd all lose to Charles, Walcott and Marciano.

    I kid (ish) but from what I've read and footage I've seen it's arguable that Walcott has a case for the last 3 Charles fights.
    I definitely can't see this.
