Only ones i would give Floyd credit for taking the risks are the following: Corrales,Castillo(wich btw he clearly lost the 1st time) and DelaHomo.....but you gotta be fkg kidding me with the rest of your list!!
Yeah but choosing weak challenges is the same as ducking,do you think at 140 the Hatton fight would have been the same?Did Gatti have a chance? Was the Mitchell fight relevant. Was the Baldomir fight the most pathetic PPV fight in history?I'l anser myself YES!!
You goddamn right I considered him the best. He beat the linear champ the man at 147 he was considered the best at that weight and for good reason. The man had never lost a fight or even that many rounds for that matter never been dropped or really hurt in a fight a blind man could see how skilled he was. Another ill informed fan.:-( Don't you realize that Hatton turned down PBF twice at 140 saying he wasn't ready? Don't blame PBF for the fight not happening at 140 blame Hatton.:deal
Yes pretty much it would have gone the full 12 in a closer fight, not necesarily meaning Hatton would win
That does not make any sense man....Tony!? pffft ,next! Cotto!? ok,he just proved that he will take on ANYONE that his comp. puts in front of him Williams!? the kid has major cojones ,he calls out anyone from welter to light middle~next Dlh!? I agree that he ducked Tony as of late but he took on the best at all times (but he has become quite a ducker lately) and finally Pavlik!? ha,barely man he also fights whom ever they put in front of him with no escuses!
Zab is a live dog in any fight, Genaro Hernandez was 38-1(his only loss coming to De La Hoya)and floyd beat him in his 17th or 18th fight. Hatton was undefeated, coming up in weight but still a tough night for most fighters.
