Ok better example then, Vic Darchinyan

Vic is a proud Armenian and carries both Australlia and Armenia flags to the ring. Australlian fans make a biggger ruckus about him than Armenian fans do.

Talk about boxing to an Armenian and see who makes more rucus about Vic Darchinyan

trust me its not the australian.

Armenians make more rucus about Abraham, Darchinyan, and Martirosyan than Australians make about Tszyu

just look at the crowd during Arce and Mijares vs Darch

Kelly Pavlik is a joke. He can hit hard but he does not move his head, he does not have a granite chin. Hes biggest combination is a 1,2. Hes comes foward in str8 lines. Pavlik is the most overrated fighter right now and il tell you why.

Its because Kelly is a white American, and he represents the white sector in a predominanty "black" sport in America. Have another look at everyones lb4lb lists and the Yankee olympics team. There all black. Thats why the institutions want him to do well, they want him to win. HBO, Showtime, Top Rank and Goldenboy all root 4 Pavlik. And its because hes a white American. Infact, if youre doubting my perception then if you recall a boxing article written by Ring magazine which explicitly stated that they wil be supportin Pavlik in the hopkins fight because he is white. Im white myself. And British. I couldnt have a more unbiased view on this. But its just the truth if you look a little but harder. But if you still dont believe me just do this - Look really closely at who they match Kelly with.Youl see the overhyped poor quality of opposition being sold to you. They know themselves hes not what they make him out to be.

And the only reason im ranting is because this constant praise which is a delusion, a con to the fans is very irritating. To Include Kelly in your US top ten list is an insult to your self.

Nice bloke who hasnt done nothing wrong, good luck to him - but hes just not that good.

Ahh man. I totally agree with your list. Great observation of fighters with skill, technique, and smarts. You seem to look at fighters in the same manner that I do.:good

It's weird this happens with fighters from other countries, but in the States here it's seems a fighter is either Puerto Rican, Mexican, or American, but not more than one.:huh

He was just playing. Can you answer Jeff M's question? I was born and raised here so it would be better off answered by someone from the island.

Promoters use this nationality thing to promote fights,if you are an American citizen you are an American,so by definition all puerrtoricans fighters are Americans of Puerrtorican descent,on the other hand you could carry double citizenship if you were born in mexico9 (like Margarito's does), Puerrtorican citizenship does not exist.

Okay, but do Puerto Rican fighters and people who live in Puerto Rican want American's claiming the Puerto Rican fighters as their own?
