    Whitaker, Mayweather, Benitez, Hopkins. Tyson, arguably the best defense the heavyweight division has ever seen. Im talking a prime Tyson, the head movement,
    the elusiveness, the angles.

    I think Pedroza, at his best warrants honorable mention, and so does Saoul Mamby. Both awfully tough to catch clean when they were at their best. SRL might deserve to be mentioned, too.

    i want to say the same but the kalule fight tells me different. he got hit way too much in that one and from time to time, abandoned his defense in favour of throwing combos

    Sweet, disagree with your not mentioning of Graham. Outside of Pep and a young Ali I think the best defensive in no apparent order are Benitez, Loche, Whitaker, Graham and Perkins.

    I'll give Ali a shout, surprised it took so long for Duran to get a shout

    Wright isn't better defensively than Kalambay and Jones Jr was more ellusive generally than Wright/Starling. I'd say the same for Toney/MCCallum
