Pacquiao has had one fight in welterweight, and one fight at 145. Marquez has not had one fight at 140. It's not a fair comparison. Did people rate Pacquiao as one of the two best welterweights before he fought Cotto?
It was an even call. You never know how a guy might react when moving up in weight. I mean Morales moved up to 135 and was poor against Raheem after beating Pacquiao. You can't rate a guy who hasn't fought at the weight. Simple as.
