the same reason most people class pac and floyd as the two best WW's, they might not have had a career in that division, but they are great fighters IN that division

Pacquiao has had one fight in welterweight, and one fight at 145. Marquez has not had one fight at 140. It's not a fair comparison.

Did people rate Pacquiao as one of the two best welterweights before he fought Cotto?

Pacquiao was not rated as one of the two best welterweights beforehand. Bull****.

It was an even call. You never know how a guy might react when moving up in weight. I mean Morales moved up to 135 and was poor against Raheem after beating Pacquiao. You can't rate a guy who hasn't fought at the weight. Simple as.

    1. Bradley
    2. Khan
    3. Maidana
    4. Ricky Hatton
    5. Malignaggi
    6. Devon Alexander
    7. JMM
    8. Urango
    9. Holt
    10. Ortiz
Other: Diaz, McCloskey, Lamont Peterson, Torres, Alvarado, Witter, Kotelnik, Ngoudju, Olusegan and i could go on. Loaded division. All young guys too. Should be very exciting. I see Bradley and Hatton being the strongest of the pack actually, with Alexander, Khan, Maidana, JMM coming right behind in h2h measures.
