Ricky Hatton is the all time king of the old grab and hit.

I always find it interesting that people can't comprehend that clinch work, in-fighting, and yes, some degree of holding, are part of the sport. It's funny how much **** these "clinchers", "huggers", "holders" get, but so few people pipe up and point the finger at fighters and trainers that are unable to teach a fighter how to deal with this distance/style... There's so many ways to get around it, various angles, positions, distances to deal with the clinch, and no one is teaching it, and this is somehow the fault of the fighters that learned how to work in that range.

Clinching means hit and don't get hit. Pretty damn boring.

    Nope.

Some people claim the Hatton fight (which is ironic).

Pretty much, your list is spot on.

I'd put Broner at the first spot, tough. Watch his last fight... or dont. **** is UNREAL. He pushed clinching to a whole new level.

At second place i'd put Ward. At third Wlad or Floyd, but at that level Ward, Floyd, Bernard and Wlad are pretty much interchangeable.
