Not to start anything, but jeez that sure is a long break. I just hope it does not affect his abilities when he fights in September.

I don't think he will be affected, he trains just as hard as any other fighter and he mangaed to do dancing with the stars and train for the hatton fight at the same time. I see him doing better against oscar in the rematch than the first fight.

I don't know if he ducked Guzman, but yes a lot of top fighters and champions go after the weakest champion. Pac is just testing the water. He possibly believes that he can beat Diaz due to the win Diaz has over Morales. Pac could have taken a top ten guy, but opted to fight someone with a belt. Nothing wrong with that. Guzman will get his chance, but he has to fight a top five guy immediately.

I think Pacquiao's incredible level of activity has you blinded to the actual incredible level of opposition he takes.

Moves up to fight Barrera in his first fight at 126, when he could still easily make 122. Roach even said he would probably move back down after this fight.

Rather than moving back down to his natural weight, he fights JMM at 126, arguably the most avoided fighter in boxing at the time

3k battery as a stay busy fight

Morales in his first fight at 130. Can you imagine?

Velasquez as a comeback fight after a tough loss.

Rematches Morales, when everyone thought Morales had him figured out.

Stay busy against the limited Oscar Larios. A no-win situation for Pac against a fighter who has proven to be dangerous and cause upsets time and time again. (hussein, Vasquez, McCoullough twice)

    Rubbermatch against Morales.

Stay busy againt limited Solis. Undefeated mexican champ.

    Rematch with old MAB

rematch with JMM, when everyone, even Roach realised JMM has the style to beat PAc

Moves up to fight David Diaz, wbc champ at 135. For Pacquiao, a guy like David Diaz is a tuneup. Thats how high his level of competition is. He moves up in weight, fights the WBC champ, and its a tuneup! And he does this just 3 months after a fight with JMM

Pacquiao is the fighter with the biggest set of balls in boxing, bar none.

The entire list of fights i mentioned above is over a span of 4 years and a half

David Diaz is top5, definately top10

Ring has him at #2 behind Casa (champ) and Campbell

Claims that Pacquiao ducked Guzman are stupid. Before he fought JMM there was a poll asking who people would like PAcquiao to fight, and most people voted JMM. Alot of people thought Pac was ducking a JMM rematch, and we all know he fought him.

The reason for these fights not happening was not because they were unwilling to travel and fight in the USA. Everytime a european fighter does not fight an American fighter someone has to come up with that reason above any other, like there could be no other possibility.

Benn fought in America sucessfully (5 times) so would have fought in the USA and was even quoted as saying he would give McClellan a million dollars should Jones fight him.

Collins said he would fight Jones in America and he also had fought in the united states before as well. In fact his first 18 fights were all in the USA.

Nunn was mandatory for Jones WBC light heavyweight title which Jones vacated to supposedly fight Buster Douglas, then changes his mind after Nunn losses against Rochiggiani and Rochigianni is illegally striped of the WBC title which is given back to Jones.

It's true. Pacman has hardly been one of the bad guys. He'll keep on fighting at least one really tough fight per year against a highly ranked A- guy, I think.

If Guzman and Campbell square off, then you can bet the house that Pacquiao will fight either the winner of that fight or Ricky Hatton, if he gets past David Diaz

How about every fighter that has stepped into the ring and has fought for a living?

There isn't a particular fighter that deserves more credit than the other. Victory doesn't trump defeat when you're putting your life on the line everytime you step into the ring.
Every fighter pro or amateur, win or lose deserves credit ... anyone who thinks other wise never been in a fighter, nor have they stepped into the ring and fought (or sparred for that matter)

    This is ridiculos ...

wether you think he would win or not has no bearing on his courage.

Actually you know what? You've been

60% fans, 40% him and the overrating in the media. He's done very well, he is elite and he is likely an ATG, but I don't find him entertaining like most, what entertains me the most are many combinations, lots of angled shots and sharpness, he gets sloppy and his jab-straight left style bores me to tears if he's not in with somebody that compliments that well like JMM.

Solis, Velasquez, Barrera 2 were sleep worthy bouts.
