    its a show of respest between two fighters participating in a bruising sport, im all for it, unless the fights a total stinker then its quite pointless

    I don't care about it, I care more about the fight itself rather than the small and insignificant acts like touching gloves.

    clip on you tube of a fighter coming out to do it for the first round and he got ktfo and it ended his career.protect yourself at all times

    I have no problem with it, boxings a sport not a street mugging, if they want to show respect good, if they don't they don't. It does bother me when guys refuse or hesitate to do it at the start of the fight though.

    Cant see anything wrong with showing respect! far worse is the fighters who just cant except a defeat, and have to come up with all sorts of stupid excuses after the fight! just cant stand that
