Yeah old Tex made a few good movie appearances had a good thing going. It was a shame a headine in Sports Illustrated wrecked it all for him . Fight fixing was going on & Tex just happened to be on that bill the night it got exposed. SI cover had his pic on it with the HEADLINE THE FIX WAS IN. He sued them but it was too late his name was ruined
James Toney. Not only was he a crafty inside fighter, he is also a junkyard dog. Even when he gets caught flush it didn't seem to really ROCK him. He ALWAYS gives as good as he gets, especially in his earlier years where training was never an issue.
