Training mates fighting each other.

    So the guys you spar with, clinch with, eat with sleep with and who constantly pick you up and push you forward aren't considered your team mates? :huh

    I have fought 2 mates, one from the same gym. there was no hostility or resentment. any comments aren't taken too serious because it's just a sport and competition at the end of the day.

    Brazillians seem to take their fighting very personally, watching prefight mentality they are a different breed. omnium contra bellum really showing itself so i suppose it isn't a great idea for some of them to do it

    I wouldn't however in K1 tournaments it always happens especially with the golden glory boys.

    The other day a guy from my gym fought a guy who used to fight out of our gym and my coach said it was painful to watch. It'll be hard because you are friends, we help each other in training, training partners, fans and sometimes hang out together outside of the gym.

    You fight to find out who the best is, not because of hate or disrespect etc Thats all sub plots to make it interesting. If its your team mate then I understand that is sensitive but its purely business, sport, competition.
