it hasnt gone unnoticed. you have brought a lot of balance back to a cadre of mods that was tilted too much to one side, which allowed certain versions of events to take a solid hold, even when they were incorrect.
to be honest, i see kirk as the beam on which the balancing is taking place, with you adding weight on one side, while other mods push down on the other end.
as a forum mod and personality, i find you very interesting. i admire how you navigate the politics between the cliques whose commentary revolves around an agenda (you know what im talking about), its a skill i lack. i would end up pissing off both sides, meanwhile, you seem to appease both while retaining your own individual perspective.
youre an asset to the forum.

Thank you as well, and just think, I wrote this 2 years ago, at this point the US is literally airlocked into an echo chamber and the oxygen supply is running out.

That was one of the most bizarre decisions on strategy I've ever seen.

Chavez NEVER out boxed a higher level opponent. His main advantage was always the fact that he weighed 20 lbs more than his opponent. His good chin and punching power were his main weapons.

Against Alvarez, Chavez looked smaller than we'd ever seen him, despite the fact he was 164 on weigh in, it looked like he weighed 175 on fight night. The old Chavez would have weighed 185 or so. 10 lbs is a lot.

My friend and I were looking forward to this fight somewhat because it might be interesting if Canelo had to fight toe to toe with some guy who outweighed him 15 lbs. However, we were disappointed that Chavez abandoned his main skill set (being able to rehydrate weight more than anyone) and try to do something he never did before (actually be a normal weight and box).

I don't get why they weren't talking about that more on HBO, I thought it was the biggest factor of why Chavez did so poorly.
