Gorman is an extremely skillful boxer who actually tried to line up a fight with Hrgovic early in Filip's career and who was ducked by David Price. He's not easy work at all.

DuBois also destroyed Razvan Cojanu in 2 rounds. Other fighters had stopped Cojanu before - but they were southpaws; DuBois was the first orthodox fighter to pull that off. Parker couldn't manage the feat and it took Ajagba 9 rounds to do it a year later.

When Dubois wins this, Don King has nothing left with the WBA. Finally Fres Oquendo can challenge for this title.

Where is Gorman now? If he's that skillful? No, he's not. He's out of shape and has no defense. Also tried to brawl with Dubois which was a stupid plan after all.

Who cares about stopping Cojanu? Cojanu is a journeyman who is scared once he's getting hit. Another Bogdan Dinu.

I could respond that Trevor Bryan stopped Berman Stiverne quicker than Deontay Wilder in the first fight.

What UK time is the Dubois fight on?

 

He did what Parker couldn't do and what Agjaba took an awfully lot olonger time to do against Cojanu.

Gorman's defense wasn't poor He didn't have the weapons to keep DuBois off of him. When Gorman fought Sokolowski - he was able to shut him out on the cards. Not an easy feat.

I don't think Bryan lasts anywhere near as long as Gorman did.
