Oscar knows who he's going to fight, ,the Cotto talk and Trinidad talk is bull****. He knows Trinidad will not fight at 154, no way. And fighting Tito at a higher weight, over 160 or so, is a definite loss to Oscar and his inflated ego will not tolerate another loss especially in his last fight. So who is he going to fight? Who is out there that Oscar knows he can beat handily and fool the public into thinking that his choice is an elite fighter? Mora that's who. A huge advertising promo will be put into action raving about Oscar fighting for a title against a truly great fighter, a champion of the world, Mora. You know Mora, that great chump (oops I mean champ) of the contender TV series. A B fighter at best. No Oscarsexuals, no Cotto that's for sure. Too risky. And i really don't think Oscar can pull off fooling the public that Chavez Jr. is anything but a semi-main event fighter (not yet anyway). Oscar has to beat someone who the general public will think that Oscar went out beating a great fighter, a great champion. The boxing gurus will know that Mora is a b fighter that had a title dropped in his lap by beating an over-the-hill Forrest and that decision was certainly controversial. But the majority won't know it was a set-up. Oscar will have his win, a new title, stand in the middle of the ring with his sombrero held tightly in his hand, tears streaming down his cheeks and in that high pitched whiny ***gy voice of his say "I beat a great champion tonight and it's my last fight. I am going out a winner, a champion." And the Oscarsexuals with their teary eyes will eat it up. Fooled again.
First of all I don't like Mora and I don't like ODH as fighters or people they are both huge assholes in my books. Now let's give Sergio the credit he deserves for beating Forrest, because at the end of the day Forrest was the best that the 154lb division had to offer. Not Phillips, not Spinks, not DLH the best in the division was forrest and Mora beat him fair and square. I would not be mad if ODH ended up fighting Sergio Mora, I think that he was scared to fight Forrest and that Mora can probably handle him as well, at this point of his career. Let's stop discrediting fighters accomplishments just because we dont like them. It's a tough sport and these guys take huge risks every time they lace up them gloves and climb into that ring. I think that Tinindad vs. ODH will never happen, Trinidad would KO him at 160 or above and he aint making 154 because he knows that Oscar will always want that fight more than he does. I also think that ODH will fight mora and will loose.
**** winky, hes priced himself out of too many fights,he wants a big payday he better get bk out there earnin it.
Oscar-Winky is the only fight out there for these two that makes sense. Both have had great careers share common opponents and have unfinished business. I'm so sick and tired of people saying Winky needs to quit pricing himself out or what has he done to earn a shot at Oscar as an excuse for this fight not happening. Or could it be Oscar and his fans know he doesn't have snowball's chance in hell of beating Winky.:yep
Could you imagine? .....a poor mans version of Winky really dominated him in Felix Sturm......DLH's predictable shots would'nt put a dent into Winky's turtle shell defense. I'm sorry, but to crack Winky's turtle shell defense, the #1 prerequisite is to be stronger than Winky.....DLH falls well short, and the fight will not be made because DLH is conscious of that fact!
