Triple g's gloves look suspect here / war anglerfish!

As you mentioned you boxed before, you surely know that a member of the opponent's corner looks at the wraps and the gloves (plus a commissionar from the sanctioning body) while they are done.

Coming out of the woodworks afterwards (that means after actually okaying them) is simply lame..

 

Floyd and GGG are not wearing the same style of Grant Gloves as this was confirmed by Elvis Grant. Comparing the two isn't going to help there as they are different gloves all together as far as the foam and padding goes.

 

Fair point, but as I always say, when it comes to cheating, you need proof to expose the person, not assumptions.

 

There also seems to something odd, misshapen about his opponent's face and his neck is twisted at an odd angle. anybody notice that prior to the fight?

 

Many people keep saying that the gloves are inspected but, how can you inspect whether the gloves have the right padding over the knuckle or is there a legal criteria at all for the knuckles besides just weighing the gloves and ensuring it checks out?

 

The thing is, not only was Rosado offered use of the gloves.. but the gloves were under cameras the entire time. Not just one camera either, at least two.

 

Don't count me on that but I think the deciding criteria is the weight, of course the glove needs padding all around, that is why the opposing corner has a man watching while the wrapping is done, he can feel out whether there are "unnatural" holes in the glove padding or if the fighter tries to **** with his wraps (remember The plaster of Paris thing?).

That is the reason why my first question for every fighter who comes out and actually accuses somebody of cheating like a year after the fight (Hi Gabe Rosado) would be, if they already fired their cornerman who gave his ok, or whether they are just full of ****..

 

Rosado is just full of ****. He didnt even bring it up for like 9 months.

He also did not accuse anyone of tampering, he actually accused Grant of making a special glove.

Any credibility he might have had, went out the window when Quillin cut him in a different spot (no scar tissue issue for that spot) with a punch. His paper skin just cant take punches from hard punching 160 pounders.

 

I don't think he'd get away with it for this long. He's fought a lot of fighters with experienced teams that would've caught this ****.

 

considering the warping or unique 'shape' of the glove. you've never considered that the way golovkin wraps his hands or clenches his fist could have an effect on how the glove looks from the outside? to me that's a perfectly plausible explanation.

another thing is those are pictures taken at what, a 1/1000 of a second or faster, things CAN look strange when frozen like that .. hell have you seen how someones FACE looks when landed on cleanly all warped and ****?

forget this crap. Innocent until proven guilty. Present real, concrete evidence or take a hike.

 

I agree that does not long normal. There are 1000's of non mayweather pics that will show that too. As for the glove inspection its not like that always works. Worth a look and thats from a big GGG fan.
