You clearly are the ****ing moron, Mundine vacated the title and dropped down a weight division when he could no longer avoid fighting Kessler and still keeping his title............ah :patsch What the **** am I doing!? Arguing a factual debate with an uneducated, delusional ****** with a low I.Q. Sometimes I forget myself.

I'll tell you the reason this fight fell through. It's quite simple really:

    Khoder F%*king Nasser.

Wow. 2 replies to a single post from our resident dumbarse - I'm sure glad you did so though, because it gives me the opportunity to show you how Mundine actually ducked Kessler TWICE.

Let me break it down for you simpleton -

    Duck number 1:

Kessler beat Mundine in 2005, then unified vs Beyer in 2006, making Mundine his WBA mandatory and Andrade his WBC mandatory.

With Kessler elevated to Super Champ status by the WBA, Mundine accepted step aside money to allow Kessler to defend his WBC strap against Andrade and instead fought Soliman for a second time, for the now vacant second-tier WBA SMW title in March 2007.

    2005-2007 = 2 years.

    Duck number 2:

Kessler attempted to unify vs Calzaghe in March 2007 and lost. Mundine then 'inherited' the full WBA SMW title with the Super Champ belt disappearing when Kessler lost to Calzaghe.

Kessler asked Mundine for the rematch Mundine had been asking for since their first fight, Mundine refused, and instead vacated his newly inherited WBA SMW title and fought Crazy Kim in 2008 instead.

So Kessler fought Sartison for the again vacant WBA SMW title.

    Note the timeline:

    Mundine vs Soliman 2 - 07/03/2007
    Kessler vs Andrade - 24/03/2007

A little over 2 weeks between these 2 fights.

    Then:

    Kessler vs Calzaghe - 03/11/2007

    Kessler vs Sartison - 21/06/2008
    Mundine vs Kim - 30/07/2008

Mundine vacated his WBA SMW title well before Kessler vs Sartison, because they fought for the vacant version of it.

Thanks for coming dumb arse

Facts do not equal "speculation" - good to see you've learnt a new "big" word and you're trying to use it as much as possible though :thumbsup

I am just taking a stab in the dark IBM. If Mundine was world champ which put him in line to fight super champion then I guess that means a purse bid if the fight cannot be set without it. And the thing is that Mundine would make just as much profit fighting someone who is less much risk, ala Soliman III. It comes down to risk vs. reward. I know it sucks as a fan but you can't blame these guys, they got to feed the kids and keep the missus happy
