I got a small collection of his fights for Christmas and I haven't seen that yet I'll check it out thanks. His knockout over Steve Little was a thing of beauty.
Great fight. Waters was outclassed but showed he had a huge heart. Some of the shots he took were huge.
Love that fight. Troy was inducted into the Australian Boxing HOF last October and Bob Sheridan was a special fat guest. Sheridan mentioned this fight being one of the best fights he'd seen... Troy's been in some great wars, none better than this one.
I don't think Troy was outclassed but just out muscled against a heavy hitter like Norris. Waters was technically a very very good fighter..... He went 12rds with Simon Brown in another very good fight.
I was there. San Diego Sports Arena, 92 or 93. I think this was also the card where Trinidad took out Blocker in one round for the IBF welter.
