dunno i felt he just fell apart not really chin issue but more of a broken down effect. kevin kelley anyone?:think what about beau jack to me he seemed chinny but brought toughness that usually negated the effects I.E. Benn styly
Tony Mundine (Anthony's Dad) was a very good fighter in the 70's but his chin was woeful. He was KO'd by Monzon,Bennie Briscoe and Yacqui Lopez (no shame in that) but also suffered a first round KO loss to the much smaller Luis Rodriguez, and was starched by absolute palookas like Lee Royster,Kahu Muhunga,James Marshall and Gary Summerhays. It really stopped him from being a genuine top liner. Also I don't think I saw Michael Grant's name mentioned yet.He had the size, athleticism and the trainers to be a force in the Heavies yet his chin was terrible which was exposed by Golota and brutally confirmed by Lennox Lewis.
Talking about him, i think we should mention his son also. He was knocked out by Ottke who had 6 KOs in his whole career - also I have to say Ottke never comitted to his punches but I think Mundine´s comment before the fight "Ottke punches like a little girl" changed his attitude a bit
I cannot believe Tommy "glass jaw" morrison has not been mentioned. I popped in a couple of his fights on my DVD the other day, my god did he have a horrible chin. A washed up carl truth williams had him down twice nearly kayoed, and Michael friggin bentt blasted him away in 1 round...i watched purrity morrison too and i think even purrity dropped him. morrison was dropped practically every time he got hit LOL.
Tommy did have a shakey set of wiskers but he also messed around with stuff outside the ring that helped his weakness
