All of that stuff is true - but that fact still remains that Floyd is all about protecting Floyd. He didn't fight Margarito because he knew it wasn't a good fight for him. Same with Cotto. You can't compare a 10 round KO against Hatton with a 2nd round KO by Manny. Floyd doesn't take unecessary chances. Had he wanted, he could have ended that fight sooner.

I gotta give it to Floyd...he's a terrific defensive minded boxer. You may not like every fight he's been in, but he isn't going to let a guy like Manny beat on him for 12 rounds the way Cotto and DLH did.

He'll fight Manny at clip that will benefit him and keep him from going broke like his Uncle and Dad...and that's probably the only reason - the cheddar.

Manny will charge, Floyd will counter and immediately move and block.

When the fight happens, and Floyd wins the decision, some fans will complain that he didn't make the fight exciting by standing toe to toe with Manny. Watch.

When pav vs floyd happens, if floyd wins he should get credit, but as you, I, and floyd knows he will not. When they fight whoever wins, will have gotten the biggest win of the their career and should get full credit period.

Floyd will fight how floyd fights, master boxer. like you said, manny will charge, floyd will counter and move. People wont like it but it is called boxing.

But when it comes down to it, **** I want manny to win.

I agree that Mayweather should up the competition in the WW division, but to use examples such as he took 10 rounds to beat Hatton and Pacquiao took 2 is absurd. That doesn't mean anything. Mayweather beat Hatton when Hatton was at a high and unbeaten, which does make a difference. Also, Mayweather beat Castillo by decision, Hatton stopped Castillo in 4 and then Mayweather stopped Hatton in 10. The A B C thing as someone rightly called it doesn't work in boxing.

Most of us understand styles make fights and 9 times out of 10 the a b c rule doesnt work in boxing.

Thats what makes our sport so great.
