You had to be fair after Mayweather though, your boy got totally outclassed and taken to boxing school by PBF.
i remember thinking to my self leading into this fight...aint no way hatton gets credit for beating zoo under any circumstances... and boy was i ever right
You were spot on. This isn't a dig at floyd but he got credit for beating gatti, who was in worse shape than Koysta .
Hits Kostya low in the 9th, Hatton gets knocked down with a body shot that is ruled a slip or low not sure....
HATTON would have given any version of Tszyu a hard fight "THAT NIGHT". I also beleive that was the fight RICKY PEAKED, it took alot out of him. Hatton did get the favours of the REF, (Dave PAris is the most corrupt official out there) was suprised Tszyu's camp didnt object. Hatton at home is a very hard task for any lght Welter from any era. But I think Hatton is a hypocryte for saying Cortez gave him a rough time. All Hattons fights in Uk have been officiaated by Paris or Micky Vann, too dodgy ****s.
"Shot to bits". yeah, right. Look I hate Hatton as much as the next guy, but most people though Tsyu was at the peak of his powers going in. That being said, all thing neutral as far as ref etc, Tsyu wins a close fight.
It's a shame what Hatton and Parris did to a great champ. I can only imagine the outrage of Britain if the same was done to Calzaghe in Australia or America. Alls well that ends well, however, Hatton got his just desserts last December.
Oh, the punch that Kostya threw while Hatton was hugging him...the one that hit Hatton on the hip? Oh, the humanity. Lest you mention the other supposed low blow in the 5th or 7th(?) which put Hatton on the canvas...it was on Hatton's belt, which he wears up to his boobies.
Did you know those cheating Brits even made poor Kostya fight at 3am??? No wonder he looked tired at the end.
