Tua went down from a decent punch, something he took easily several years ago. I wish them both well.
Well if it was monte's best fight in his career, then tua may not be as shot as you say. Monte's had some good performances so if it was his best, that would be saying something. I didn't see the fight so I don't really know how bad tua looked, but monte was a legit fringe contender/contender at one time and if it's his best that ain't too bad. As far as monte's losses to solis, haye, and even couser, sometimes fighters stamina and chin can be worse for some fights than others depending upon overall health (even at advanced age). But no matter what, it sounds like tua ain't gonna be ready for the big time anytime soon if ever
