Cris Arreola is not the best contender in the top-10 these days, but, he is at least willing to fight anyone available. I have doubt about Sam Peter. Peter is ass backwards.. Peter jacks off in camp when fighting a big name, but then trains hard to KO a stiff on ESPN... WTF? Shannon Briggs hand-picks too many tomato cans while talking smack about fighting a live body...... Yeah, all 3 dude's are good for team Tua...... MR.BILL
Kiwi and leftnut 89 cannot accept the fact Tua has been finished for quite sometime now. He'd be better off fighting shot fighters like himself.
Super bad idea for team Tua. This steroided up version of Briggs can punch a hole in a brick wall. Putting a short, fat, slow, and plodding fighter in front of Briggs is bad news. Briggs is tall, and as shown in the Lewis fight, Tua has to jump to land on a guy that tall. If Barrett had the power to drop Tua then Briggs will knock Tua out unless he goes in to a shell.
Before last night's draw, Tuamaniac's were comin' outta the woodwork on ESB talkin' jive as to how he (Tua) was gonna clean up the heavyweight mess and win the freaking title........ That jive has now dropped off the radar.... I still wanna see the aging and slower Tua get his chance again, but, it had best be within a year from now... So basically, Team Tua has until mid-'11 to keep me interested..... That gives Tua another chance to get tuned-up as well......... MR.BILL:bbb
Oddly, I feel both sides (Tua-Briggs) are too leery of each other and will refuse any offers at this juncture......... Thus, we'll never see "Tua-Briggs" fight...... :| MR.BILL:-(
Doubt it, Briggs will fancy his chances as will others who werent so keen vs the younger Tua. As Longrob said, Briggs is punching harder than ever and has a decent chin, hes not going have to chase Tua and Tua's timing seems shot to **** now, most fringe contenders would beat him now. Best thing is to retire, but he needs the money.
We, the public of the world, need the $$$ these days and nights....... BUT! It's simply amazing how many former RICH fighters / sportsters are currently going belly up over the last few yrs....... Q: Doesn't anyone know how to tie-up some $$$ for security protection over the long haul? MR.BILL
He is still unbeaten in his comeback (if only technically), and at the same time he has proven to be very beatable and showed the only thing he's got left is his name. Therefore he should get titleshot against Wlad or Vitali without problems, although I wouldn't go as far as saying he is ready for any of them.
I doubt they'd see him as a sellable opponent, after the Barrett fiasco. And who can blame them? Tua is now seen as an expired carton of milk......... and is clearly no longer a world class threat.
I'm curious if David Tua is willing to fight a "K" brother in Europe. The brothers are hot as hell there and kickin' ass these night's in Germany and Switzerland..... All the contenders and pretenders who've traveled abroad to fight the brothers, end up flying home as big time losers..... But, of course they do bring home a decent check...... I'd bet that Tua and team would LOVE to face Holy in either Vegas or Atlantic City for the WBF title instead, and see how that pans........ MR.BILLbbb:hat
