Maybe earlier. This match is absurd. A wipeout. Guys like Chris Byrd are a rarity. Most guys who come up several weight divisions to HW get laid out. That's what would happen here.
I think you're assuming a lot here. Forgetting that we don't know how Adamek will fare at heavyweight yet.... It doesn't take a slick fighter like Byrd to beat Tua. Stationary fighters with good jabs have given him loads of trouble in the past. See his fights with guys like Rahman, Masvaek, Doc Nicholson, just to name a few. A good jab acts as a reset button for Tua. Adamek has a good jab. I do not believe this is the foregone conclusion you have out to be. PS-Adamek would KO Byrd if they fought at cruiser now. :smoke
Golata would **** his pants and run off before Tua got in the ring. This new Tua hysteria is crazy dumb, but Golata is made for a quick KO.

Let me put it to you this way. I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Adamek gets by Golota. Knocking out bums like Bobby Gunn is one thing. These are HWs!
I'm not sure that Adamek gets by Golota, either, but I think Adamek matches up better with Tua than a lot of people think. Tua is a sucker for a good jab.
tua was a sucker for chris byrd and lennox lewis. wow, TWO people. many have tried the jabbing approach against tua, and many have failed. you can talk to Izon as he has tried the jab approach:nut

well since byrd is nowhere to be found and lennox lewis is long retired, then yes. adamek has a good jab, but it would do little to no damage against tua. it would keep in the fight for about 5-6 rounds, but tua would eventually knock him out as he has done many times in the past. and seeing as tua is in great shape, is more determined, utilizes better head movement, and throws crisper, faster punches, then yes it has changed.
I agree. Tua appeared in great shape, appears more determined, utilized better head movement, and was throwing faster crisper punches. I noted as much recently. However, we still have no way of knowing if he could do that for a full twelve rounds. How do we know after three rounds that Tua wouldn't revert back to his all familiar routine of PLOD, EAT A JAB, RESET, PLOD, REPEAT CYCLE? :smoke
I think you are underestimating the degree to which fighters who move up from LHW or CW usually have difficulty at HW. Most fighters coming up from these weights don't fare well, and even those who do usually have problems taking HW punches. Look at Michael Moorer! Outside of guys like Shavers, Tyson or Foreman, who at HW hits harder than Tua??
