Round 3 Siale tries to work his way in, reaching in with his own jab before Bostic can get one of his own off, but eats a left uppercut before he can land anything. Bostic getting cute now, ducking away from Siale's attacks and gliding across the ring. Bostic reminds me a tiny bit of Victor Manuel Cayo, in his quick unorthodox movement and punching style. Siale lunchpailing it...following Bostic around and moving his hands whenever close but not trying to reach in on the taller longer opponent. Bostic 30-27
Round 4 Siale now crouching and jabbing to the body of Bostic. Bostic taps Siale's face with the underside of his glove with soft jabs, meant to annoy Siale more than anything. He does bring a left uppercut to the body under Siale's right arm when he isn't looking. Bostic now in a rhythm, able to remain in one spot, his right arm loose at his side, until Siale catches up with him at which point Bostic paints his face with the jab and/or drives him back with straight lefts and uppercuts. 40/36 Bostic.
i too am watching this fight. this undercard fight is actually pretty exciting, amazing round this last one was
Round 5 Siale determined but is still advancing slowly and without a specific plan of what to do when he comes upon Bostic. He walks into another uppercut. Bostic seems a bit weary but is still controlling the distance. Siale remains in front of Bostic and keeps firing out jabs and left hands. Bostic takes a big left on the chin and wobbles...but is able to stay on his feet to the bell. 10-9 Siale
Siale catches Bostic hard toward the end of r5. Looking in real trouble for a moment but gets out the round. R6 could be a *******
i dunno ya know, bostic dominated early rounds but if the judges gave 1 of them against him it could be a draw
Round 6 Bostic using the full perimeter of the ring now, peppering Siale with snowflake jabs whenever he can reach him. Siale throws a huge can-opener right hook but misses, nearly spinning around. Bostic tries to hit him with one of those discouraging uppercuts but falls short. Siale throws his gloves around Bostic's throat and drags him to the ropes and begins tagging him point blank in the face with leather. Bostic is tired and uncomfortable with the pressure, and is now only barely able with his diminished quickness to stay away from the ever-slow Siale. Siale nearly catches him clean with a lead overhand left, and had Bostic not cocked his head to one side he may have been knocked out. Another Siale round, he had the momentum but it began too late. 58-56 Bostic
